The winners of the Longton V.M.S.S.C. Carlsberg Doubles were John Hodson and Dave Bradshaw who beat runners-up Kevin O'Mahoney and Dave Darley 21-12.
In the semi-finals Hodson and Bradshaw beat Tim Slinger and Steve Johnson, and O'Mahoney and Darley beat Dave Clarkson and Richard Ascroft.
