Cup Rules

1. All matches up to the fourth round will be played on one green.
   The first named team in the draw will be the home team.
   
   The following handicaps will apply:-

	HOME	AWAY	2008 Winners Leyland S.A. 'A' give 10 chalks 2007 Winners Hoghton 'A' give 5 chalks
Division One	Scr	25.5
Division Two	20	45.5
Division Three	40	65.5
Division Four	60	85.5
Division Five	80	105.5

2. The home team captain is to give at least three dates to the opposition within seven days of the draw taking place.
   (Three dates on the same day and time will not be regarded as fulfilling this condition).
    
3. The Semi-Finals and Final will be played on neutral greens.
   Each team will receive the away handicap, with a further 0.5 chalk being awarded to the lowest league positioned team on the day of play.
    
4. Practice and blocks in rounds 1-4 will be as normal league matches.
   Semi-Final and Final practice will be by agreement by Captains and alternative blocks will apply.
    
5. In the event of two teams who play on the same green being drawn to play each other, the first drawn will receive the home handicap for their division, the second drawn will receive the home handicap for their division plus a further 0.5 chalk.
   Both teams to have alternative jacks.
    
6. If the match is not played by the due date, both teams will be scratched from the competition unless a prior agreement has been made with the Secretariat.
    
7. Any matters not covered in these rules will be dealt with by the Sub-Committee.
    
8. Once a player has played for a team in the Knock-Out Cup he cannot play for any other team in the competition.
