Presidents Day Results
 

Presidents Day was held on Tuesday, 14th August at Thurlby Club.

President: Mr Henry Riley.

It was an afternoon that produced some excellent bowling despite of the conditions, (fortunately the rain ceased and then held off), and attracted a good crowd around the green.

The Final went to 20 across, but only after a great fight back from Martin Jump, who then clinched the single he needed to win the Gerry Wastell Trophy to add to his "Doubles" title he had won a month earlier.

Commiserations go to Russ Goodson.

President Mr Henry Riley thanked the bowlers, officials and all those that supported the day for a most memorable occasion.

It was a great afternoon out!
